Christmas Crafts

I have more pictures somewhere of the other cards I made, but I can't think of where I put them. So, to start off, here are some miniature cards I made for my co-workers.

A wine-bottle hat and scarf topper.

And hats I made for my nieces. These turned out much better than I planned on. I may have to make some for myself. :)

Stampin'

These are a couple of cards that I made. The first set were for my classmates at my last school.

This one was for a very special niece who turned 3 this year. :)

The next set of pictures were stamped mini-scrapbook albums my husband and I made for our 3 moms this last mother's day. The first group of three pictures is for my step-mom. They all turned out really cute. I need to make myself one. :)

This is the one for my mother-in-law. My husband made it for her, and it is really funny.

This last group of pictures is the one I made for my mom.

Flowers, and sculptures, and treats. Oh my!

Here are a few of the different crafts I've done involving flowers, clay, and fun treats.

I was a part of a small group of students over the last year. For the last night of class, I made these chalkboard picture frames for them. They didn't turn out quite as well as I wanted, but they are fun.

This frame is one that Shaelyn and I made for Valentine's day one year. It's a pattern I found in one of my craft magazines. They turned out looking very much like the conversation candy hearts given out at that time of year. :)

This year I found a recipe for marshmallow ghosts. They were pretty hard to make since the marshmallow bodies kept falling over. They were a big hit at work.

These are the bouquets I made for my wedding. I had never arranged silk flowers before, but had an idea in my head I wanted to try. I absolutely love the end result, and it's something I can keep forever.

A fall wreath I made. Again, I love this arrangement and the bright fall colors.

This is an arrangement I made for my boss. It was really funny because several people thought the flowers were real, and didn't know how I got the little violets in there. :)

Recent Creations

Here are some of the projects I've done lately. Not much with going to school and working, but at least I have gotten a little done. :)

This is a prayer shawl I created. I love the color and the fringe. This one I will hold onto until someone needs it. I like creating these to give to people who could use prayer and comfort in their life.

This scarf was an attempt to learn a new crochet stitch - the waffle weave. I really like how this turned out. I also have never made pompoms before, but those turned out pretty good.

This is a corner-to-corner baby blanket. This is one of my favorites because of the colors. It made me think of a strawberry plant. Went to a friend of mine who recently had a little girl.

This is a better picture of the edging and design. The corner-to-corner creates a look similar to basket weave.
